What is Amaizing Grace?

The Real Amaizing Grace

Amaizing Grace Kettle Corn began in 2010 as a “Biznistry”—or business ministry.

We’re a non-profit ecumenical ministry under the Christian Ministry Campus, Inc. a 501(c)(3) corporation. Our purpose, then and now, is to fund and support ministry endeavors, locally, nationally and internationally.

We do that by being a sustainable business, which is where the term “business ministry” comes from.

Volunteers staff all our events. The organizations represented by our volunteers then share in the ministry funds generated through the sale of the Amaizing Grace kettle corn. We invite any organization involved in ministry and community endeavors to participate in this unique outreach.

Here’s the Message We Share At Every Event

God loves you! God wants a relationship with you. You can have a relationship with God by making a B-I-G decision. That decision involves surrendering to God by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Jesus is as alive today as he was 2,000 years ago!

We live in a sin-cursed world where people rebel and do bad things. We have rebelled against God and really deserve punishment for that sin and rebellion – death and separation from God forever. Thankfully, God loved his people so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to die in our place on the cross for our sin and rebellion. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead forever conquering death. Jesus is now preparing a place in Heaven for those who surrender to him.

Right now, God wants to forgive your sins. He will accept you where you are now regardless of what you have done if you turn from your sins (repent) and believe that Jesus died for you and rose from the dead.  Only then will you have true joy and your life will have genuine meaning.

Pray like this: “Lord, I believe that Jesus is Your Son. I believe he died to pay the penalty for my sins. I repent and ask you to forgive me, and to give me the promised gift of eternal life. Come into my life and cause me to be born again. Amen.”

Defining ‘Biznistry’

Amaizing Grace is featured in “A 21st Century Approach to Marketplace Ministry” by Jeff Greer, Senior Pastor at Grace Chapel and Chuck Proudfit, Marketplace Minister and Founder of At Work on Purpose®.

Here is an excerpt from that book:

The BIZNISTRY® concept: BIZNISTRY® boils down to ministry in and through business. It requires us to view business not just as a contributor to the church, but rather as an extension of the church; to put aside business as usual, and come alongside business in service to ministry.

… BIZNISTRIES® are organizations advancing God’s kingdom in the work world by blending the best of marketplace and ministry disciplines. They generate profits like a business, but give them away like a ministry.

They meet a pressing need in the world, overlooked by the marketplace and underserved by ministry.

The basic ground rules of BIZNISTRY® are simple, but not easy. They include fair and honest dealings (Proverbs 11:1), an emphasis on service (Philippians 2:3-8), and charitable contribution (2 Corinthians 9:11).

From ethics to stewardship, most organizations compromise these ground rules, or Biblical principles, citing “practical realities” in the marketplace. We see fallout all the time, when organizations produce sub-standard products that harm consumers, when executives line their pockets at the expense of other stakeholders, and so forth.

Testimonials

Here are comments from our Volunteer groups that have or are working with us.

Amaizing Grace has been a blessing and easy to work with to raise much needed funds for our mission trips and disaster relief efforts. It has also allowed us to go to events in the community to sell Kettle Corn, share the love of Jesus, and tell people about our organization.

Amaizing Grace has helped our young ladies learn about business, opportunities to bring Christ into their lives and others at events with one bag of popcorn at a time. All while raising money for their trips, adventures and what it means to walk in the light of Christ.
